In 1988 Harold Bloomberg opened the doors to Harold’s Oak House. The store initially focused on selling inexpensive particleboard furniture. Harold soon discovered that the locally made Amish furniture, made of a much higher quality solid wood, was what his customers really were looking for and the rest is history. Today, Harold’s Oak House is still family owned and operated, now run by his son-in-law Mike and yes, the furniture is guaranteed to last a lifetime. All the furniture is locally made at one of many independent shops from wood that is sourced in the United States.

After closing our doors in August of 2022 due to the struggles with the Covid pandemic, we have decided to try to make a comeback! We will only be doing online only for now. We still personally deliver up to 125 miles from the Paradise PA area and be using a 3rd party delivery service that offers curbside or in home white glove set up for customers who are over the 125-mile range (see map below). We also have a warehouse for customers who prefer to pick up their furniture.

Custom Furniture: At Harold’s Oak House we offer a wide range of custom-made furniture. Any piece you see in our showroom can be modified for size, stain, wood, or hardware. If you have something special in mind, we can have one of our shops create your one-of-a-kind piece from scratch using any of our quality woods, stains, and hardware. We can design furniture to fit any house or décor style.
